Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of IQ by Hattrick FC (“IQ”, “we”, “us”), a coaching dashboard operated by Hattrick Football Coaching, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. By creating an account or using IQ, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use IQ.

1. The service

IQ is a web-based tool that helps football coaches track training attendance, session reflections, player ability and character development, fixtures and results, game minutes, and related reports. Features available to you may depend on your subscription and any add-ons.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
• You may grant a team manager limited, input-only access. You remain responsible for use of your account, including by anyone you grant access to.

3. Subscriptions, billing and refunds

• Paid features require an active subscription, billed through Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for another period of the same length (annual plans yearly, monthly plans monthly) at the price for your plan, until you cancel. This is disclosed before you pay, and you can cancel at any time — access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Our 30-day money-back guarantee lets you get a full refund of your first payment if you cancel within 30 days of subscribing.
• The “founding” rate is locked in for life while your subscription stays continuous; it is lost if your subscription lapses, and returning members pay the current standard rate.

4. Your data and content

You own the coaching data you enter into IQ. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, process and display that data to provide the service to you. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for having the appropriate consent to record information about players — including, where a player is a minor, consent from a parent or guardian.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse IQ, including by attempting to access data that is not yours, disrupting the service, reverse-engineering or copying the platform, reselling access without permission, or using IQ to store unlawful content.

6. Our intellectual property

IQ, including its software, design, framework and branding, is owned by Hattrick Football Coaching and protected by law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership of the platform to you; you receive a limited right to use it while your account is active.

7. Third-party data

IQ displays publicly available fixture, ladder and opposition information from third parties such as TheSportsDB, Dribl and Squadi. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or availability of that third-party data.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep IQ available and to improve it over time, and we may add, change or remove features. We may carry out maintenance or experience downtime, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

IQ is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of IQ. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using IQ and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or if required to protect the service or other users. On termination, your right to use IQ ends; you may request an export of your data before deletion.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when they last changed, and continued use of IQ after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
